Gas tank mounting frames for the Fiat / Peugeot / Citroen X250 chassis.
Underfloor LPG tank mounting cradles are now fully dipped and electroplated. This ensures that the electroplating goes fully inside the cradle to give the best corrosion protection possible.
In line with current industry guidelines the underfloor LPG tank and its mountings when installed should be further treated with a suitable spray on anti-stone chip paint.

Designed by Autogas 2000 with collaboration with Cad designers these British made cradles are laser cut and folded to offer a mounting for any of our 200mm diameter gas tanks under floor to the X250 chassis as used on many panel van conversions.
The design has been checked and an in house certification is applied after confirmation from an engineering consultant to confirm that the cradle exceeds current recommendation for under floor tank mounting through mathematical calculations.
These cradle are bolted through the chassis side so offer an easy fitting on pre converted motor homes where a floor mounting would not be possible allowing the tank to lift straight in.
Tank mounting is located behind the exhaust silencer in the middle of the van and just before the chassis mounted handbrake mechanism changes to pull rod for the rear wheels.
The cradles come as a powder-coated pair with rubber insulation.
